We asked for a refund after finding pink residue in the Malibu rum we’d bought at the hotel market, but the staff blamed us for it and wouldn’t return our money. The bottle was expensive, and whatever was wrong with it felt like a health risk. We’d only made two drinks before noticing that it tasted off, and it seemed clearly contaminated or perhaps 10 years past its expiration date. The staff did appreciate being told, but be very careful about expiration dates and the general quality of the products there.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is very clean. Staff were welcoming and professional throughout. Binetou at reception stood out for her constant smile, kindness, and excellent service. She made the stay even more enjoyable. I’d recommend it for a quiet business trip.

The beach is lovely and only about 20 meters away, with direct access through a side entrance. The hotel itself is well cared for, with a green setting, a great pool, and beautiful, clean, spacious rooms. The staff are friendly too. I’d happily come back.
