Souare Premium Hotel

The restaurant was a highlight: breakfast was good, and the lunch buffet and dinner were excellent. Restaurant staff were very helpful, as were the friendly reception staff, though the floor staff weren't. The airport shuttle was very good, but keep your passport handy for the contrôle at the entrance to Kaloum. The shower is excellent, though you have to wait for hot water. Wi-Fi is extremely good throughout the hotel. Rooms use a separate network name and password from the ground floor and 8th floor restaurant, so ignore claims that it doesn't work in rooms. There are still things to fix. The lifts are unreliable, with buttons that don't work on some floors, and they often take you the scenic route before heading where you want. The towel rule feels petty: two small towels and one large per room. If you shower at night and again in the morning, one is damp, and they replace towels only if you go find someone. On my last morning, they took all the towels while I was at breakfast. Cheap and petty. I'll stay again, and hope they get serious about the towels.

The restaurant service wasn't good. The waiters couldn't speak English, and the food took a long time to arrive.

The local food was excellent. We ate there with friends and had a perfect time. It's well located, the staff are welcoming, and you'll enjoy it. I'd suggest anyone visiting our nice town come to this hotel restaurant for a taste tour. Thanks to our friend Bamba for recommending it to us!

The apartment was sleek and beautiful, but there was a bad smell in the bathroom. I suspect it's coming from the septic system because of poor plumbing work.
