Catamaran Corfu Hotel

That little hill to the hotel was a workout every day without a car, especially in the August heat. At least our room had air conditioning! We really liked the view from our upstairs balcony, and the room was nice, very clean and smelled freshly washed. The staff were always friendly, working well together and ready with a smile. The pool was clean and refreshing, but there were only two fixed umbrellas. That's a shame if you need a break from the sun. I'd also have liked a safe in the room or at reception. We stayed for 11 days in room 16 on the second floor. It had a separate bedroom with two single beds and a double sofa bed in the living room. From the balcony, the view over the sea and Acharavi was magnificent. The hotel sits a little uphill from the main street, but restaurants and shops are only a 5-10 minute walk away. The room was practically equipped and had lots of nice details. They changed the bed linen, cleaned the room and brought fresh towels every two days. The air conditioning worked very well and wasn't loud. The pool isn't very deep, but it's nice and the water was warm. Rita, the manager, was lovely, smiley and helpful.

The rooms were great, and I absolutely loved having air conditioning. We had an amazing time at this hotel.

The Lady in charge was lovely, and I had a great holiday here. There’s a lovely pool, while the beach is a 5-10 minute walk away. Coffee shops, markets and restaurants are about five minutes on foot, and green busses nearby go to neighbouring towns. Definitely visit Kassiopi, about a 15 minute bus ride away, with crystal clear water that's amazing for snorkeling! One warning, don't touch prickly pears on a cactus without a glove or a bag.
