Villa Stefania

The room felt a little dirty overall, the dishes weren't clean, and the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. There was no shampoo, and even the soap provided wasn't enough for the three days we stayed. They also charged extra for air conditioning without telling us in advance. The Booking listing says beach front, but the place is two blocks from the beach. There's also another Vila Stefania a few kilometers away, so we wasted a lot of time going to the wrong one first. Luckily we'd rented a car. A taxi or buses could have made that a massive hassle. Why use a name that was already taken? It is pretty cheap, yes, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

A peaceful, pleasant place very close to the beach. The owners are kind and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

This was just the kind of place we like. Our studio apartment was in a small house, with its own entrance and a balcony with an open, unobstructed view. It was quiet and close enough to the sea to hear it, but far enough from the tavernas that their noise didn't reach us. The hosts live on site and offered cleaning, fresh towels and bed linen twice a week, along with any help we needed. Georgios even picked us up from the airport after our overnight trip, and Stefania treated us to dinner together.
