Apollon Hotel Apartments

The hotel is generally nice and clean, with a large pool, a shallow section for kids, and a pool bar. The rooms were okay, except ours smelled strongly of cigarette smoke when we arrived. The welcome pack and air conditioning cost extra, €8.50 and €6 per day when we visited. We knew about those charges, so they weren't a problem, but both the city tax and air conditioning have to be paid in cash. The internet was awful. I had to switch to 5G to look up the area and make bookings. I was also annoyed that the cleaning lady seemed to have been told to open a door and switch off the air conditioning. We left for breakfast with the doors shut so the room would stay cool, but came back to find the balcony door cracked open. At €6 a day, that practice didn't feel right. We won't return. For the same money, you can get a nice AirBNB.

The pool area is really nice, and you can get snacks and drinks there at reasonable prices. Restaurants at the bottom of the street are less than a three-minute walk, while the main street with more restaurants and bars is about ten minutes away. The rooms are basic but clean, with a safe and air conditioning, both charged separately at the hotel. Towels and sheets are changed every three days. There are basic cooking facilities, though no toaster.

Really lovely hotel and apartment. The room was super clean and just right for two, with a modern bathroom. The pool is lovely 😍

A nice aparthotel with lovely staff and a well-kept pool area. The rooms are clean, though basic, and the barman was the best.
