With 11 friends, we never felt crowded in this great three-floor villa. There are plenty of dining areas and the facilities are good. Air conditioning is mostly in the shared spaces rather than the bedrooms, though fans were provided. It's a good base away from busy Rethymno old town. You'll need a car, or you can book one of the many taxi companies by phone. The villa is also in the middle of the island, with similar distances to HER, CHQ, and the south beaches.

We had a very pleasant, memorable two weeks here with good friends, and made lots of happy memories. The pool was great and the location quiet. The one problem was a lot of condensation on the floors from the cooling system. I'd be happy to come back anytime.

You'll need a car to get around, since it's quite a walk to anywhere. The local restaurants weren't open in April, but we made good use of the BBQ. The villa itself was great, with loads of space indoors and outside.

A brilliant villa for a family holiday, whether you're 2 people or 12, with everything you need. The only things that let it down were the aircon, which isn't enough for such a big villa, and the very, very hard, uncomfortable beds.
