The hotel is nice and the rooms are clean and tidy. It's on the main road, so there's some noise, but bus stops are nearby. The beach and village are about 20 minutes away in opposite directions. All in all, a good base for a relaxing sunny holiday.

The rooms are basic self-catering, with a kettle, toaster and small hob, and the beds are very comfortable. The shower curtain will become familiar, so my tip is to put the little stool in the shower and tuck the curtain around it. Just accept that it's more of a wet room. The pool is small but plenty big enough for a cooling dip, with lots of sunbeds. Ged and Terry gave us a lovely welcome, including a cold beer or whatever drink you wanted. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but Ged was the star of the week. His warmth and humor made our holiday. The bar food is well worth trying. The kitchen closes for a couple of hours from 3 to 5, then opens again until 10pm. Golfer Resturant is also worth a visit, about a 15 minute walk from Nimar. The "rubbish" quiz happens twice a week, a fun, lighthearted way to meet the other guests. It's cash only, though they'll let you run a tab during your stay. We paid at the end of each day to keep track, and the food and drinks were very reasonably priced. I'd recommend Nimar to couples and adults of any age looking for a relaxed holiday. I'd definitely come back, if only to see Ged again.

The service is top class, even though the hotel itself is basic and comfortable. We went to Rhodes for a week with my wife in August 2025, looking for a small, quiet hotel with no kids. The bar stays open as long as people are there, and there was good food and a nice pool, just what we needed after exploring in temperatures of 36-43 degrees C. The staff are all friendly and helpful, but Ged stood out. He's a great bloke, funny and willing to do anything to make your stay the best it can be. There's a tab system for food and drinks, but it's cash only, so make sure you find an ATM. They don't take cards. Ged, if you're reading this, I'm Baz, not Daz, you daft get. You called me Daz all week, and we had a bet on whether you'd get it right 😂

We had the best holiday here, and made some lifelong friends during our stay. It's a 2 star place and a long way from most nightlife, but the staff, especially Dimmy, Ged and Billy, couldn't be better. The rooms are very clean, there are plenty of sunbeds, and the food is OK. We stayed in August, the hottest month, so walking to the nearest village was hard but doable. Taxis and buses are available, and the food down the road is awesome. Great holiday.
