Sky-Line Apartments

The hosts were very professional, and I had a good time at Skyline-Apartments, but the technical side needs work. I booked through Airbnb and stayed 11 days. The apartment building is on a hillside, with the Skyline Restaurant above it. Shops and other restaurants in the center of Afantou are just a few minutes' walk away. When I arrived, the hosts had found out where I could get a Greek SIM-card for my smartphone. The mosquito screens on all the windows were torn, but they replaced them within two days after I asked. They also brought a kitchen trashcan when I requested one. Guests get a discount at their restaurant, where the food is really good. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped, despite Airbnb's usual expectation that hosts provide basic cooking supplies and the Skyline website's claim that the apartments have a fridge, kitchenette, toaster, kettle, kitchenware, cutlery and glasses. There were just a few mismatched glasses and cups, three blunt knives, and a few forks and spoons. After I asked, the hosts supplied a simple coffee maker. There wasn't even a drain stopper for the sink, and they couldn't provide one, which made washing dishes quite complicated. I mostly ate out, but didn't feel I had much choice in the matter. There was one usable power socket by the bed. The other was halfway ripped out of the wall, and I was told not to use it, so I had to choose between a light by the bed and charging my phone. That was never fixed during my 11 days. The TV also never worked. I asked the hosts for help at least three times and heard nothing back, so I have to assume they didn't take the request seriously.
