Amphitheater Cave Houses

The apartment was exceptionally clean, from the spotless bathroom and towels to the comfortable bedding. I can still remember the fresh, clean smell of the laundry. The blue and white decor felt calming and iconic of Greece, and the private view was stunning. We enjoyed relaxing on the well-kept terrace at the start or end of the day. The property itself is well maintained and secure, in a peaceful spot away from the crowds but still a short walk from the center, local shops, and cliffside promenade. Minas manages the property with real kindness and is very responsive, so you can rely on him if needed. He arranged airport transportation both ways for a small extra fee, including having staff carry our luggage to the room. He knows the island’s best spots and clearly loves its people and place. Stop by Black Velvet to meet Minas’ father, who makes beautiful handmade items and is warm and welcoming. I absolutely recommend this place for both the stay and the human connection.

Minas made us feel welcome and helped with anything we needed. His insider map was a lifesaver, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Our room was spacious, tidy, clean, and comfortable. The views from the room and balcony were incredible, and the location made it easy to get everywhere, with lots of lovely shops and restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to return to Santorini and spend longer at the Amphitheater Caves!

Minas was a great host and arranged our transfers. The sunset cruise he recommended was a real highlight, and Miri deserves a shout-out for carrying our bags. We loved our stay. There are steps, but they’re everywhere in Santorini. The location is excellent, with shops and restaurants just minutes away, and our huge balcony had the best sunset view.

The caldera view from the room was a dream, and the apartment had all the essentials, thoughtfully designed and equipped. It’s right in the heart of Fira, making the town easy to explore. Minas was kind and always ready to help, with great suggestions for places in town and around the island. Definitely trust his advice to make your trip better. Absolutely recommended.
