Armikes Beachfront Suites Afionas

Good value for the money, with a great location, modern decor, a fully equipped kitchen and excellent service. The sea is just a few steps away across the lawn, a narrow road and a bit of sand, so you can go for a swim before breakfast. You can find coffee and food from places about five minutes’ walk away, though they may not suit a smaller budget. Shops in the village have basic ingredients. If you want filtered coffee at the accommodation, bring your favorite grounds and make it how you like. There are lots of places nearby to rent water sports equipment. A car is useful, but buses, transfers for hire and walking trails are options too. Cycling can be difficult because the hills are steep and the narrow roads can get busy.

The apartment was spotless, newly done and nicely decorated, and our holiday was amazing. The hostess was considerate and really helpful. I’ll definitely come back.

I had a really bad experience with the property owner. She said I’d damaged their beach towel with bleach and asked me to pay €20. I showed her I hadn’t even touched the towel, but still had to go to the property in the middle of my second vacation day to pay. After that, she never gave me the towel. Be careful about this trick.

This was our best stay so far. Everything was new, spotless and flawless, and they’d provided all we could think of and more. Thank you!
