We were five people, and what stood out most was how genuinely the staff cared for us. The people running the place are all women, with years of experience, yet they're still down to earth and easy to approach in any situation. The girls at the pool bar were kind, and we loved spending time there. The pool was very clean, not overloaded with chlorine, and larger than it looked in the photos. Rooms were nice. The hotel is right in Afytos, and the beach is 15 minutes away on foot or 5 minutes by car. There was also a small kids' corner that kept ours entertained for an hour or two each day. Breakfast was good quality with a decent amount of choice for a medium-sized hotel, not a conference centre. The homemade marmalades and dishes that changed daily were especially tasty and authentic. My only complaint was the missing olive oil. In Greece, that felt disappointing, so we brought our own after asking for it during the first two or three days and not wanting to ask every day. We found the same at almost every restaurant we visited, so perhaps rising prices are the reason. Maybe a small à la carte menu with three or four special dishes and small 50-100 ml bottles could work, and might bring in some extra money, though an à la carte menu would be a hassle. Our family has made summer in Afytos and at Stratos Hotel a tradition, and we keep returning year after year. Afytos is right in the heart of the area, with stone-paved streets, tavernas, and bars overlooking the sea. It's a great base for exploring the beaches of Kassandra and Sithonia in Halkidiki, as well as places inland, from green mountain spots to the Petralona caves. The hotel feels relaxed and works very well for families. Everyone on the team, from reception and the breakfast buffet to the pool bar and cleaning staff, is lovely, helpful, and genuinely cheerful. That makes such a difference. Breakfast is wonderful, with homemade treats changing each day and a good selection to get the day started. We love this place and can't recommend it enough. We're grateful to everyone there for making every stay feel like a dream holiday.

The staff at Stratos Hotel were consistently welcoming, kind, and helpful, and their hospitality made our holiday even better. Our room was comfortable and the atmosphere relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Greece.

Waking up to the sound of the waves was lovely, and I enjoyed the delicious breakfast with its good range of fresh options. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with breathtaking sea views. The staff were welcoming and ready to help, which made me feel at home. The hotel is just a few steps from the beach, and the location is perfect for a relaxing seaside holiday. I'd definitely come back! 🌊✨

The staff were professional and polite throughout, always happy to help with questions. Breakfast offered lots of choice, and our room was cleaned really well every day. The location is fantastic, no more than 150 metres from the main town area. Parking is about the same distance away, at the start of the street. We'd be very happy to stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.
