The room was hot, but the bathroom stayed cold, and the shower's hot water had almost no pressure. The toilet was dirty, the room was in poor condition, and neither the bed nor the pillow was comfortable. There was only one window, which made the room feel claustrophobic.

The room felt cramped and wasn't well maintained. Breakfast was just okay, and I didn't think it was worth the price. The staff were friendly, though.

It's my favorite spot in AGIOS athanasios. The rooms are cozy and everything is close by.

Really loved the place.

We were two couples planning a New Year's break at the last minute, though we booked two weeks ahead. When we checked, this was the only hotel we could find with availability. Booking showed just one room, so we called and were told they had two junior suites left. The price seemed very high, but since we were late planners we thought maybe it would be worth it and didn't complain. As a general impression of P. Agios Athanasios, though, nearly everyone we met seemed very cold and unfriendly. Getting to the hotel was a struggle, winding over mountains and through valleys to find it. There was no private parking, and the location was difficult to reach, so we left the car on the road. The rooms were quite dark, which I suppose is understandable for a winter destination. The main problem was the heating. The radiators didn't warm the room enough, so we lit the fireplace with the few logs we had and got at least a little warmth. After the tiring drive, we tried to shower. My partner went first and had lukewarm water. I got about five seconds of lukewarm water before it turned icy. The bathroom was freezing, and by then the radiators had stopped working altogether. My partner went to tell reception, but I couldn't wait and washed just my hair in cold water. They said they'd come check, but nobody ever did. We had brought shampoo, thankfully, because the bathroom had nothing except two small soaps. We had no choice but to keep the fire going in the cold room. My partner went to the open wood store for a few more logs, but a man stopped him and said guests weren't allowed to take them, staff had to bring them. Earlier, while we were out, housekeeping had cleaned the room but left no wood. He returned the logs, and five minutes later reception called to say each log cost 10 euros. My partner went back down to sort it out. The woman on the phone insisted each log cost 10 euros, while the man who had stopped him said each crate cost 10 euros. They couldn't even agree with each other. He pointed out that nobody had told us about the charge, and if guests weren't allowed to take wood, the store could have been locked or we could have been warned. Neither happened. He also told them the room was freezing. They said the fireplace sensor detects the cold and then produces heat. We sat in the cold, and around midnight the radiators finally came on, giving off only mild warmth. On top of that, a light above the inside of the door didn't work, and the cracked door let cold air in. Our group, both couples, decided not to stay any longer. We were due to check out the next day, but left the previous morning because of how bad the experience was. We were still charged for the day we didn't stay. The deposit for one night was 180 euros, and the other nights we stayed cost 275 euros. I really don't think it was worth that money, especially since we paid for a night we never used.
