Semeli Hotel

I wouldn't say it was worth the price. The room was tiny, with hardly any space, and I couldn't get a fully dark room because light came through the gaps around the big windows and the curtains were see-through. The bed was the one good part: it was large and comfortable. For five days, I could hear everything from the neighbors, talking, walking, showering, and more, so I slept badly the whole time. The sheets and pillowcase were never changed. Breakfast was very limited, mostly fried eggs and sweets. There was no bathroom ventilation or exhaust, so after using the toilet the smell lingered for two days. The toilet bin and toilet paper were awkwardly far from the bowl, and showering flooded the bathroom. The whole setup was ridiculous and a disaster at the same time. 5/10.

The pool was clean, breakfast was good, and the hotel had a nice feel to it. My room was checked every day by smiling housekeepers, and the floors were clean too. There are sweet balconies, and the beach is a 5-6 minute walk away. A laundry place, supermarket, cafes, and restaurants are all around 3-4 minutes away. Highly recommend.

I went to Naxos in July on an educational trip with other students, and had the best time. The hotel was wonderful, the food was so good, and the staff were lovely. Lina, the housekeeper, was especially kind to my friends and me. Lina, köszönöm, remélem, hogy újra látlak ♡

Our family was thrilled with the breakfast, served between 08.30 and 22.30, with fried eggs, omelette, a Greek salad bar, Naxos cheese, and plenty more. We booked a two-bed apartment, and each room had its own air conditioner, TV, and small balcony. The nearby swimming pool was handy, and renting a car made it easy to reach Agia Anna and Plaka beaches. Public transport is an option too, but takes longer. Semeli hotel is in the centre of Naxos and blends tradition with high quality services. Ask them for details about the amenities and advice on good traditional food. We found it good value and felt very welcomed by the staff. Though rated two stars, it felt like much more. It was a lifetime experience, and I highly recommend it.
