We had a positive stay overall and I’d gladly come back to give it another try. The host is lovely, and everything else is superb: the terrace, location, cleanliness, parking, and peaceful feel. Ag. Effimia is the best seaside place in Greece we’ve ever been to. The house is also very clean, with a cleaning lady changing the sheets and towels and cleaning every 3rd day. Still, the house needs some investment. It looks like nothing has been put into our apartment for a long time, and some things were even worse than last year. The mattress squeaks terribly and feels like it’s falling apart, making nights difficult. The entrance door won’t stay open. The toilet doors are completely broken, and my daughter got stuck. The bathroom door has a lot of slack and keeps banging. There’s no latch in the lock, so you have to lock the door to keep it closed. Some usual kitchen items are missing. A little money spent on these things would make the place perfect. You need to invest, not only collect. ☺️ This is just kind-hearted advice, because the rest really is superb.

We had a very clean, fairly modern ground-floor apartment with just the right amount of space for our family of four. They provided a nice high chair and travel cot for the baby. The shared outdoor area was lovely and still felt private, since each apartment had its own table and drying rack. The location is very handy, just steps from the marina in the small, charming Agia Effimia. The very kind staff handed over the keys at reception, and left us a small bottle of olive oil as a gift at checkout. I highly recommend it!

It was good value for money and a handy base for exploring the island. The host was kind, and we appreciated having a spacious balcony, plus books and umbrellas to take to the beach. The space was quite small, though, and there were ants on the kitchen wall.

The location was excellent: close to the center, with ample parking, but away from the noisiest areas. The room was very clean and had every convenience, including a coffee machine with free pods each day based on the number of guests. Free beach umbrella rentals were available too. The staff welcomed us warmly, and a kind young woman who spoke excellent Italian contacted us well in advance to say the room was ready earlier than expected. The final note was very much appreciated, and we’ll take it home as a memento of our stay at Stamoulis. We’re very happy with our choice and highly recommend the property. Our only small complaint: there was no toilet paper in the restroom, and we would have preferred the bin bag to be changed more often. My girlfriend and I stayed at Stamoulis Apartments for 4 days. The staff are polite and willing to help, and the studio was comfortable, fully functional, and spotlessly clean. Apartment prices are very good for the services provided.
