Selena Rooms

We love it here. It’s like staying with grandma, with a gorgeous view thrown in. The beds were clean and fresh, the shower was excellent with hot water, and we could choose between two rooms. The lovely owner was always around to get us what we needed. This place is for people who appreciate the real thing, not pompous pretend style for Instagram photos. Luckily, it won’t suit everybody. You do need to manage a few steps, though. Wonderful!

It’s gotten a bit run down over the years, but if you don’t expect too much, it’s cheap and cheerful. Thanks to nice eleni.

The location is fantastic, but the room was absolutely disgusting, dirty, smelled horrible, and had mould all over the shower. We couldn’t stay and just left. We’d paid for the room before seeing it. The owner/manager insisted on the phone that it had recently been renovated. What a joke. Save your money and time, don’t stay here.

For the price, it’s absolutely fantastic. You get what you’d expect from a cheap room: a bed, kitchen, bathroom, and everything you need, in a really great location. It’s not a hotel. Be ready for stairs, though the whole city is practically vertical. If you want a cheap room, this is the place for you.
