Athina's Flat on the sea

The house is beautiful and well located, with really nice neighbours, and the waitress is constantly cleaning. But the bed in the second bedroom was almost broken, so I had to sleep on the floor. The microwave doesn’t work either. Despite that, it’s good, 4,85*. P.s.: The pool isn’t attached to the apartment. It belongs to a nearby hotel, but they’ll let you use it.

We booked this apartment through Booking about 10-15 days before arriving, travelling as a family of five with small children. Two days before the trip, we got an email saying the booking had been cancelled because of a card problem, with no real explanation. Our card worked fine, and we even offered another one. Booking told us the owner had cancelled it, so it felt like an excuse or a scam. Maybe they'd received a better offer elsewhere. They didn't answer our emails, and twice promised to call the next day, but never did. Leaving a family with kids to deal with that stress at the last minute over a few extra bucks, without even replying, was awful. By chance, we found a much better place, and the card worked perfectly there. One of the worst people we've ever booked from. Zero stars, highly not recommended. Worst experience ever.

Nikos and Mary were wonderful hosts, and we had a great time during our four days there with our two kids. The apartment is right in the center, close to a supermarket, restaurants, and bars, and has everything you need. We could also use the pool and loungers at the neighboring Haris Hotel.

We’re staying here now, and the location is ideal because it’s so close to the beach.
