We’ve stayed at Hotel Effie several times and have always been very satisfied. Helen always helps whenever we have a question and does all she can to make our stay as good as possible. The service is consistently good, and the staff are smiling and pleasant. Our rooms have always been clean and nice. We spent two wonderful weeks there this time. It’s close to the center of Scala, but still quiet and calm, with a pleasant atmosphere. It’s a family hotel, and that feeling comes through.

This is our fifth year in a row at this hotel. The hostess is one of the kindest people I’ve met on the island, and she’s always there to help with any problem. The rooms are always clean, with wonderful balconies and amazing views. Breakfast is nice, and the sea is just 50 meters away. It’s also only two minutes from the center for eating out and shopping!

The staff were pleasant, and the rooms were clean. It’s very close to the port for the Blue Star ferry from Athens. The beds were comfortable, and the place had an authentic Greek style.

The owners were so kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and nice. It’s a lovely hotel right in the heart of Skala, Patmos, close to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great too. I was very happy with my stay and will definitely return. Can definitely recommend it.
