To be clear, we offered to leave peacefully and find somewhere else to stay if you refunded the room we were not allowed to use under your policy. You refused, so we stayed. We were never graciously “allowed” to remain in good faith, as your comments suggest. When you told us our son couldn’t use the pool, we said he wouldn’t and followed that request to avoid disruption. We were willing to leave without complaint if you returned our money. Neither your reply to my review nor the one to my husband’s acknowledges that you denied the refund after we agreed to leave your “adults-only hotel.” Your response seems more concerned with your public image than with what happened. Refusing a refund to a family that offered a respectful solution wasn’t fair or good faith hospitality. I’m not concerned about whether Expedia removes comments. If that matters to you, pursue it. The facts are simple: we offered to leave, you refused the refund, and you kept the money while enforcing a policy that barred us from using the room. That’s poor hospitality. Regards.

We spent two weeks here in September for our honeymoon. The place was clean and quiet, and the poolside staff, Marina and Costas, were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, though the hill up to it could be tricky for elderly or disabled guests. We’d stay again.

We felt at home at Folia within about four hours, even though it was our first visit. The team are all so friendly and keen to help, and the service was outstanding. They noticed at check-in that we needed one bed in each room and had sorted it before we reached our two-room apartment. Everything was extremely clean and neat, inside and out. Breakfast was generous, and the cocktails were great, especially the Folia special. Restaurants, the beach, and the bus are all within walking distance. The climb up to our apartment was a bit steep, but it keeps you fit. We’re planning to come back next year and “home” again.

Our room was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and regular cleaning kept the whole hotel spotless. The pool was a good size for relaxing, with sunbeds easy to find. It’s up the hill from the strip, which gives it peaceful surroundings and nice views. It’s family run, and the service was excellent. They even arranged our airport transfer and greeted us when we arrived late. They’d thought of everything for a great stay.
