Kymata Hotel

You can see the sea from the balcony, and the pool area is really nice, with shade where you can relax. The place is simple, almost rustic, but very clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and ready to help, which added a lot to the stay. Breakfast was modest but delicious. People are right that there are no shower curtains, but water is scarce on the island, so maybe this is a more economical way to do it. I loved the place and would 100% return!

The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful, and the location is great, just a few meters from Kamari's main promenade. But the rooms really are bare minimum, so watch out, the bathroom doors don't work. Breakfast is just as basic. What else could we expect from a 2 star hotel? All in all, 2 stars 🤷‍♂️

The air conditioning worked well, and breakfast was nothing special but okay. The hotel is very close to the beach and all the restaurants. The staff were mixed: a blonde guy was very, very friendly, but a girl didn't speak much English. That usually wouldn't matter, but when we really needed help she couldn't assist us. The day before our flight, we asked where to meet our booked transfer. She didn't know and told us to take a bus to Firá and then another to the airport, which wasn't an option for us. The pool was dirty the whole time and very warm. There was no shower curtain, so everything got wet. Breakfast was ordinary.

Lovely, quiet spot that's still central and close to the beach. The place is spotless now, though apparently the bad ratings come from the past. The only downside for me was the awful breakfast coffee, and there was no fruit.
