Hotel Zephyros

This was our second visit. It's a small place, and I'm pretty sure it's family owned and run. We came in the first week the pool and sunbeds opened and had them to ourselves. The beach and restaurants are only five minutes away. A great little find, and I'd definitely recommend it for a quiet, de-stressing holiday.

Room 12 was lovely and quiet, with a fridge and air conditioning. The pool is nice, though there aren't quite enough sunbeds for everyone. The beach is an easy walk, and most loungers there are free if you eat at their restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had plenty of choice. It's a lovely little hotel I'd happily return to, though there's not much for small children, so I'd recommend it for adults.

We had a pool view room, though it wasn't one of the highest rated, and the stay was brilliant from beginning to end. Staff welcomed us warmly, and the pool area was delightful, with a superb bar and an attentive bar lady who kept us refreshed. When we reported a small air conditioning problem, it was fixed within ten minutes, and they brought us complimentary glasses of prosecco, a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent, especially sitting outside each morning with the mountains in the background. The location is ideal, close to the Kamari strip and the centre, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Although it's classed as a three-star hotel, it felt well beyond that. We recommend it wholeheartedly and would stay again.

The beach, shops, bars, restaurants, and bus stop are all just a few minutes' walk from Hotel Zephyros, so the location worked really well. Our room had a small balcony facing the front, but it was set back from the road enough that there was little noise. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet always had a great choice of hot and cold food, and the rest of the food was good too. We spent seven nights here and had a great stay. It's a lovely family run hotel, with friendly and helpful staff.
