If you’re after somewhere to properly unwind, this is the place. It feels like a little step back into the 80s, and I love that it shields the kids from all the distractions of the outside world. This is an island, not a city or town, and it’s still untouched by the outside world. People complaining about basic things seem to forget it’s an off-grid island. The basics are a privilege here.

David is a really friendly, laid-back host, and we found the place very clean. The bay of Agia Marina looks stunning from here, and it’s easy to get around on foot. We also took a sunset boat trip, which was amazing.
