The location is nice, near a tucked-away beach locals use, a local cinema and a five-minute walk from Ayia Marina's main road. The room was reasonably clean, comfortable and managed well enough, with an okay sea view. Just don't expect much from that view: the pool was out of order, leaving an empty pool from the 90s right outside the balcony. There were a few problems in the room too, including burned-out lamps and damp, though clean, towels.

Villa Alexandra felt fresh, modern and very clean, almost like it had just been renovated, which was a relief after seeing the old, neglected and nearly derelict buildings around it. Our studio had air conditioning, new double glazing, reliable strong wifi and a lovely balcony with a retractable awning. The view was stunning despite some less attractive neighboring buildings. The pool was spotless and beautiful, and the staff cleaned daily and changed the towels and linen every two days, even when we said it wasn't necessary. We visited a little outside the season, so things were quiet and most bars were empty. The staff were cheerful and chatty, and we did our best with our limited Greek. We found some local restaurants but will leave reviews on their own Google pages. A happy, lovely Greek break, and we're looking forward to getting out and about again soon.

The rooms were clean, and the location was great, with nice views from the pool and balconies. We had a very pleasant stay, thanks to the kind hostess and great service, and would definitely recommend it.

A great-value spot tucked away from the usual path, with a fabulous pool and lovely staff. You can walk into town for fantastic restaurants and bakeries. ❤

Clean and nice, and the price was reasonable. Some rooms have balconies with a lovely sea view, and there's a pool where you can stretch out and relax in the evening.
