We felt ignored and disrespected throughout the stay, with no professionalism from the hosts. On our last day, they offered to move us to a larger apartment, but that couldn’t undo the awful start to our summer holiday. The room had a broken, see-through bathroom door and no water in either the toilet or sink. We told the hosts right away, but nothing was fixed that day. They said someone would come repair it, which wasn’t true, and refused when we asked to change rooms. The cleaning lady was extremely rude and insulted us when we said the bathroom was dirty. The main host, the woman, was rude and unprofessional too.

The host was very nice when we arrived, but that changed at night when we found lots of bedbugs on our bed, as shown in the picture. I called her right away. She said everything was full and she couldn’t move us to another room, but offered to refund our money. I agreed, and we waited until morning to get the money and leave. I don’t recommend it!

Martin and Andreas went out of their way to help us find good places to eat and make sure we had a great time in Keramoti. They were authentic, charming, and always responsive. At Orange House, it felt like we were visiting friends, not staying at a business. They made us feel at home, far from our home in California in the US. If you want to experience how warm and welcoming Greeks are, come visit Martin and Andreas. Thanks so much for a great summer! We’d love to return, and wish the family all the best.

The owners make you feel welcome, and their thoughtful tips made our stay a pleasure. They told us where to find a quiet beach, how to get to Nestos reserve, and about a fishpond where you can choose fish for dinner. It’s a cozy, comfortable place near the forest, away from tourists and constant noise. We were lucky to have neighbors who appreciated its charm too. Thanks, and see you soon :)

They were very welcoming when we spoke with them, but everything changed when we arrived and saw the place. It was probably the dirtiest room or house you could find in Greece. Everything was absolutely untouchable.
