Kostas, the owner, was a really nice guy. We were traveling in our camper and found this as a place to park and spend the night. He let us stay for a small fee, told us a bit about the area and his family’s history there, and greeted us in the morning with freshly baked bread. I recommend it if you’re traveling by van.

The quiet, secluded location suited me, since I like to avoid busy places. It was inexpensive, but the room wasn’t great: the air conditioner was very weak and took ages to cool things down, and the shower, mattresses, and furniture all felt cheap.

Hotel Arsenis sits among peaceful olive groves, with breathtaking views of St. Stephen's Monastery and the Meteora landscape. The calm setting felt inspiring, and the hotel family made us feel welcome with attentive, genuinely caring hospitality. We had a memorable stay, and their personal kindness really stayed with me. Highly recommended!

We were thrilled to find this place after coming up empty looking for a room anywhere nearby. The room was simple, but the valley view was lovely, and we had a warm shower, TV, and Wi-Fi. The host was helpful and friendly, and breakfast was enjoyable. Thanks!

I could have happily spent a few more days here, just sitting on the balcony or outside the restaurant and looking over the olive groves. The valley and rock formations are beautiful, even though the property is only a four-minute drive from the main road and downtown Kalabaka. Panash and the staff made us feel so welcome and gave us great tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The property itself is absolutely lovely. We'll definitely stay again.
