Pineas

The beds were the worst part, hard as concrete. We had booked two nights but left after one, and would have gone straight away if we could. The price shown on the door was 75€/night, but we were charged 110€/night. The room was clean, though poorly maintained. All the furniture was scratched, the bathroom was tiny, and there was barely room to turn around in the shower. The shower tube looked ready to burst. Breakfast was basic at best: fruit, toast, cereal, coffee, water, and orange juice. The hotel is far from the town centre, so you'll need a taxi or rental car, though parking is free. The hotel removes bad reviews from booking platforms to make itself look better.

The staff were kind and friendly, and they let us check in early. When we arrived at the pool, someone brought us iced water, which was a really nice touch. Breakfast was very good too. It's a beautiful hotel in a quiet part of Kalambaka, with a garden and a large, clean pool. Our room was big, had all the facilities, and came with a large terrace overlooking Meteora.

The pool is great, the hostess was super nice and hospitable, and the beds and air conditioning are new. Breakfast was pretty decent too. The rooms and bathrooms feel dated, and it's noisy being beside a country road. Town isn't a convenient walk away. If having a pool matters to you, this works well. Otherwise, I'd probably pick somewhere newer and nearer town :)

The balcony had a spectacular view, and the pool was excellent. The rooms are a bit dated, though, and the location feels remote. I imagine getting around would be a nuisance without a car.
