The details here made it clear this property was designed and built with real care. It feels nothing like a typical holiday rental. From the electric gates and beautifully landscaped grounds to the seamless WiFi and digital TVs that descend from the ceiling in both bedrooms, everything was thoughtfully done. The two sister properties share the grounds, but the layout gives each complete privacy. Both primary suites are equally good, immaculate and well furnished. The towels and bedding are high quality, on par with a five star hotel. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with basics like salt, pepper and dishwasher tablets, so there’s no need for annoying supermarket trips. Outside, there’s a spacious terrace with seating, sunbathing space and a fantastic BBQ setup. Honestly, no restaurant has a better view. The villa sits on the mountainside above the charming village of Agia Pelagia. It’s peaceful and secluded, with breathtaking panoramic views from every window, including the showers. You’ll definitely need a car, but Heraklion and the airport are just 30 minutes away, and local restaurants and beaches are easy to reach. The heated pool, indoor hot tub with spectacular views and private sauna round out the stay. I travel a lot and rarely post reviews, but this place is truly special. I’d rent it again without hesitation and highly recommend it.

Panos went out of his way to help us with extra services, and nothing felt like too much to ask. The view was breathtaking, the pool amazing, and there’s a beach and plenty of little grocery shops nearby. It’s also a convenient 20-minute drive from the airport. The place was even better than the photos, extraordinarily new, clean and spacious. There were thoughtful extras that weren’t listed, including a large portable Bluetooth speaker, a massive gas BBQ, a brand new baby cot and highchair. The beds were truly first class. Highly recommended!

Villa Helios felt like having a little wellness center all to ourselves. The huge spa on the second floor and the sauna were such a bonus. The views were stunning from every room, especially the main bedroom, and the whole stay was beyond our expectations. We enjoyed every minute. Agia Pelagia is a very short drive away for restaurants and the beach. Don’t hesitate, treat yourself and book this villa.
