Chrysa house apartments

Leaving was a relief, but the whole stay was stressful and unpleasant, something I'd never experienced before. Airbnb, where I was lucky to have booked, reviewed the listing and saw that the property wasn't as advertised. After two hours of checks, I got a full refund and left. We'd booked an apartment with two bedrooms and a sea view. There was only one bedroom, and we couldn't see the sea from the room (see the picture). The place was in very poor condition: cracked walls, dirt in the shower and on the balcony, worn old chairs, peeling paint, and broken glass in the door, among other things. A really bad hostel. I contacted the hosts. They didn't reply at first, then said they couldn't help, though they could send a cleaning team if I wanted. Cleaning wouldn't have fixed these problems.

Everything was so close by: a municipal parking lot, supermarket, pharmacy, and doctor's office right by the rooms, with the lovely Agia Pelagia beach just a three-minute walk away. The hostess was kind and professional. We were impressed by both the cleanliness and the treat waiting in our room when we arrived. We'll definitely return!

We had one of our best holidays in recent years at chrysa house in June 2019. It's a lovely family-run place, with really comfortable, spotless rooms, big balconies, and fast free internet.

Really good location, and the place is equipped very well!
