My favorite part of Zathea Apartments was the peaceful private garden, with its lovely view, table and chairs, and hammock-style seat for relaxing or sunbathing. The room itself was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with a big comfortable bed, quality linens and towels, plenty of closet and cabinet space, a small stove, and even sewing and ironing supplies. It was spotless, cleaned daily, and had a modern smart TV with local channels, Netflix and internet access. I liked the minimalist decor and personal touches, too. The whole property felt quiet, clean and modern, and the contactless key card made getting in easy. The owners were polite and courteous, and left me a small parting gift before I left. It’s a bit of a walk into town, so a car or motorbike is useful. I’d recommend having your own vehicle anyway, since public transport on Kithira is limited and you need one to visit its most stunning spots. I’d absolutely stay here again and hope to return soon.

We’re campers, not usually luxury apartment people, but we’ve come back for a second stay and enjoyed it again. The owner is really friendly and good-humoured, and it’s only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and other places. Our family room was a good size, air-conditioned, and had a fridge and kitchenette. It was scrupulously clean. Booking directly through the website worked well, with quick replies to emails. Nice to deal with the owner directly 🙂

Zacharia is an amazing host and a wonderful person. His tips on where to eat and what to see were priceless, and the daily cleaning was a lovely surprise. The apartment was spotless, had comfortable beds, parking included, and a great view over the bay of agia pelagia. With three levels, we each had our own space, which mattered a lot with teenagers. We loved being here and really didn’t want to leave. We’ll be back. Thank you, Zacharia, and wishing you and your family health and happiness.

The staff were always in touch and ready to help whenever we needed support. We had a wonderful five days on this beautiful island, staying in high-standard apartments in a great location. Everything was perfectly clean, too.
