Housekeeping was spot on, and the staff were really caring and attentive. The pool area was gorgeous, with comfortable loungers and a clean space. Our room worked well for three adults, with enough comfortable space, a handy kitchenette and a little balcony with a great view. The beach is a five-minute walk away, and Chania centre is about 20 minutes away. We'll stay again, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Crete!

The hotel has a calm pace, and every staff member gave very good service. It's a well-kept, family-run place with plenty of free parking and a short walk to the bus stop. Several small beaches and a public park are 300-500 metres away, without needing to cross any busy roads. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and Roots is one of the best in the area. The garden, pool and whole property are clean and in perfect condition. This was our fourth visit, and we've already booked for next summer.

Room 21 was dark and noisy, beside the water and ice cream fridges and the breakfast room. They told me there wasn't another room available. We were there in May, and I would avoid that room. The room itself was average for a hotel in this category. Cleaning and service were good, and the pool seemed a reasonable size, though I didn't use it. The checkout arrangements are worth knowing if your flight is late. In most hotels you leave by 11 am, sometimes by 12. To keep the room until 6 pm, they charge €45, which I think is too expensive.

It was nice looking at the pool lights in the evening while having dinner on the balcony. The pool area was one of the things I liked, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere overall. The beach isn't too far away, which is another plus. Cleaning happens every day unless you ask for something different, and they take requests into account. In the two-room apartment, one room has air conditioning and the other has a ceiling fan.
