Terra Mare Hotel

It was easy to park right by our room, and the grounds felt spacious and green, with a large pool. Our room was basic but comfortable, and it was super clean every day. The rates were very reasonable compared with other places on the island, and Lixouri town is close by. There wasn't wifi in the room, which was a downside, though we didn't really need distractions. Nikos gave us such warm, excellent hospitality and made our holiday stay a treat. We'd come again, if only for him.

The garden and pool were lovely extras, especially on those long, hot summer days. Our room was clean, the staff were so friendly, and Nikos and his lovely daughter deserve a special mention. The Greek food was really tasty. I'd definitely recommend it and come back.

We wanted somewhere quiet on the south end of Santorini, away from the usual tourist spots and wild nightlife, and this place fit the bill. It's a relaxed resort setting, within walking distance of black beach and lots of restaurants. The stay felt comfortable and unpretentious, and the staff were attentive. Eva and Tasos at the front desk were especially helpful with our last-minute requests and in explaining what the area has to offer.

The bar was a nice place to unwind after a day at the beach, and we found the prices more than fair. The hotel was clean and pleasant, and its location worked really well for exploring the island with a rental car. Nikos made us feel welcome from the start of the holiday right through to the end. He really takes hospitality to another level. We told him we'd come back one day. For seeing the southeast, we'd recommend taking the ferry from Lixouri to Agrostoli.
