The family at To kamari were so kind and helpful. Nikos, the owner, greeted us with a smile, and his mother, father, wife, and lovely baby were all welcoming too. They didn't make a fuss about payment when we had coffee, tea, or water. The rooms were spacious and always clean, and breakfast was delicious, with wonderful homemade cookies and patties as well. Nikos even helped us sort out a difficult medicine problem. The beach is very close, I think about 20 meter away. A nearby cafe manages the beach and doesn't charge for umbrellas and similar things when you buy food or drinks. The sea was lovely, though a little cold. Whenever we go to Chios, we'll stay at To kamari without question.

The beach and the surrounding area are lovely, and the hotel was one of the friendliest places I've stayed. It's family-run and has a personal feel. I'll definitely come back.
