We loved our 10 days at Pefkos Eye in 2024 so much that we’re coming back this year for two weeks. Panaiotis, the owner, was welcoming and full of useful information, and his lovely sausage dog, 'Banana', was a delight. Our apartment had its own individual decor and a terrace overlooking the garden. It was peaceful despite being within walking distance of lots of great local restaurants, and the sea was only five minutes away on foot.

Banana the sausage dog was an absolute joy, and the host has a huge character and so much knowledge of pefkos. The upstairs rooms have sea views and balconies, while downstairs rooms look onto a lovely garden. There’s a quiet beach with a nice beach bar nearby, and some great restaurants are an easy walk away. We could definitely have stayed longer. If you’re after a unique stay and a wonderful room, stay here.

We loved staying here as a family with a baby. The owner is welcoming and creative, and every room feels carefully thought out, with its own design. We also appreciated the sustainable touches, like the up-cycled furniture and the large library of books and beach items left behind by previous guests.

We had a sea view from our balcony, and the rooms were quirky, clean, and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There’s a great pool next door for guests to use, a lovely small beach a few minutes one way, and bars and restaurants a few minutes the other way. Three rock bars are within a 10-minute walk 🤟. Absolutely love this place, and we’ll definitely be back.

The owner Peter was friendly and accommodating, usually with his little sausage dog banana by his side. Our room was very clean, surprisingly spacious, and extremely quiet at night. We found the place on booking.com, then contacted them directly because it was cheaper. We had an amazing stay and can’t imagine staying anywhere else in pefkos!
