Elena Pool Apartments

We liked the peaceful surroundings and the pool, which could feel like it was all yours when there weren’t many guests. The room was clean and fine, with a fridge, and I really appreciated having air conditioning. There’s a playground for kids near the pool, and parking beside the apartments. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby, and the beach is about a 10-15 minute walk. The owners don’t speak English very well, but the lady tried her best. She and the other hosts were kind, polite, and always smiling. We were heavy sleepers, so we didn’t get to try breakfast. There were some issues. Wasps flew around the pool, and the pool closed at 7 p.m., which I didn’t like. The handles on the pool steps were cracked, and I nearly cut myself. The shower was tiny and cramped for me as a tall person, and the broken shower head leaked through the cracks and sprayed water everywhere. Also, the blue side walls left color on you if you touched them, so you’d turn into an avatar.

George and faye were lovely. They stayed up for us until 2, kept the bar open so we could get drinks, and switched on the Aircon. They always greeted us with smiles. When we ordered food by the pool, they set up a table so all eight of us could sit together, which I loved. It’s a friendly, hardworking little place, quaint and lovely to stay in. Sure, it’s basic, but the homemade chips are to die for.

A real piece of greece. I stopped by the pool and felt so welcome, the owners are delightful and very friendly. The tuna sandwich is top drawer, and they greeted me with a big smile. Highly recommend.

The owners were friendly, the area was really quiet, and the pool was great. Our room was cleaned every day, and it was about a 10-minute walk to the sea. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
