Orabel Suites

The quiet, comfortable bed meant we slept really well, and the pool area was pristine and peaceful. At night, the lighting made the property feel magical. We loved the Honeymoon Suite’s large private balcony, where we had breakfast each morning. The food was a highlight, fresh, creative, and incredible. When high winds hit Santorini on our second day, we stayed in and enjoyed the suite and private hot tub. Room service was phenomenal, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and showed off the chefs’ talent. The white wine from the bar was delicious, and the Cosmopolitan cocktails were the best we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived at Orabel Suites in Perivolos, we felt at home. The welcome was warm and attentive, with a welcome drink and our luggage brought to the room while we checked in. Every detail felt carefully handled. The hotel’s design and furnishings blend elegance and comfort beautifully. It was a serene, luxurious, intimate escape, and we’re already dreaming about coming back.

Janis has a great hotel, well worth staying at. We had a beautiful suite with a hot tub, and the staff were amazing. The chef made great vegan breakfasts when we asked, and the bartenders were great too.

We found a real oasis of calm and luxury here. It’s not in the postcard part of the island, and Oia took 35 minutes to reach by car, though parking was easy. The area nearby isn’t very built up, but the black volcanic beach is a short walk away, and Popeyes is worth a visit. We highly recommend it. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, and the waitresses were fantastic. Dmitry arranged a boat trip, car hire, and a great meal for us at The Edge in Akrotiri, and everything went smoothly. The staff are superb, laid-back, and welcoming, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Janis, the owner, is there in the mornings to organize breakfast. It was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had: three courses and a choice of drinks. Dessert at breakfast was new to me, and I’m here for it! Xaris behind the bar is brilliant and makes a mean cocktail. His drink with local liquor and cucumber was one of the best I’ve tasted. He hadn’t named it, but I think Santorini Smooth suits it.

We’re here on our honeymoon, and the place is even more beautiful than we expected. Everything from the bartender to the chefs has been perfect, and the food and breakfast are amazing. The owner is happy to help with anything, from restaurant bookings to choosing lovely places around the island. Highly recommended!
