Mazis Studio A

Our two bedroom apartment was spread over two floors, with comfortable, large beds and a big balcony overlooking the resort and bay. That view was probably the best part of the place. The infinity pool area wasn't huge, but it had room for more than 20 sunbeds and offered amazing views too. We arrived very late for our 9 day stay, and Helena, one of the hosts' daughters, met us with a nice drink and some beverages and water. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. The only downside was the lack of drawer space in the bedrooms. Fingers crossed we'll be back.

I loved the apartments and the resort, with its lovely pool, great views, and welcoming staff and owners. Just be aware that getting there means tackling a long, very steep hill. That was fine for me generally, but with a heart condition like mine, I’d need to book somewhere at the bottom.

The beach views are stunning, and the climb back up after a visit to town is worth it. We just walked around and found some lovely places to eat, so go explore!

The balcony and pool both have lovely views, and you can hear the waves below, which we enjoyed even though the apartments are high above the beach. Our weather changed to autumn during the stay, bringing the first thunderstorm and lightning of the season after five months without rain. A couple of nights had very heavy rain, but it didn’t cause us any trouble. It actually cleared the air, which had felt quite heavy for the first four or five days. We spent 11 nights there in early September. It was still 33°C in the daytime and over 25°C at night, so the excellent air conditioning in apartment 15 on the first floor was a real help. The studio was larger and better equipped than we expected from the Booking.com photos, especially the balcony, and it was just right for a couple wanting a peaceful break. Nights were so quiet. The shower was great and the single beds were comfortable. We were greeted with a drink when we arrived. Cleaning was excellent, every other day, and we could ask for anything extra. The pool area was clean and modern, with comfortable furniture and a peaceful atmosphere. There was no loud music, and sunbeds and shades always seemed to be free, so there was no need to get up early to claim one. If you're hiring a car, get a small one. Parking is tight all over Corfu, including at Mazis. Thanks to the whole Mazis family for a perfect holiday.
