A small pool that’s just right for relaxing, and a lovely family run place. Everyone was kind. If you get hungry, ask the owner, Nonde. He might surprise you with something from his kitchen.

The garden is lovely, with a little playground and a shaded pool for kids. Stella, Nonde, and their daughter made us feel very welcome, and he really knows his way around a grill. The cleaner was kind too. A great choice for a family holiday, especially with young children. For nearby outings, we liked Roda beach and its restaurants, and the sunset at Dysis was great, but book ahead. In Sidari, try the tavernas and Lalupa. You can book a return boat taxi to Porto Timoni, visit Marinas pool bar at Arillas beach, take a farm tour at Honigtal farmland, or check out Matts arcade hall.

We’re already looking forward to being back at the end of June. This has been our favourite place on Corfu for 12 years, and some years we’ve come twice. Nonde and Stella were welcoming from day one and have become good friends. They’ll do anything for you, and my wife even calls Nonde her Greek second husband. It’s set in a tropical-looking spot and is very good value. Nonde’s pizzas and cooked English breakfasts are lovely. With the drinks, he’ll just keep pouring until you tell him to stop, there are no measures. He sometimes puts on a barbecue night too, with loads of Greek food for a great price. The strip, with its nice restaurants and bars, is about a 20-minute walk away. See you soon, Nonde and Stella. Xxx
