Dimtris and his dad were great hosts, and the hotel has a great view. I've visited Ikaria three times, and this is easily the best hotel I've stayed at in Agios Kirikos.

We had a large room, and the rooftop pool was great. The hotel also gave fantastic service. Agios Kirikos feels pretty remote, but it's lovely, and you can walk to the ferry for an easy ride to Samos. There are plenty of places to eat in the town square. Therma is the next town over, about a 15-minute walk with beautiful views, and its hot springs are worth a visit. In the ocean near the right-hand cave at Therma, you can swim where hot spring water meets cold water. It's fantastic. We wished we had more time here.

The staff were super nice and always ready to help, and the pool was cold and refreshing on hot days. The sea view from the window was amazing. My wife and I stayed two nights. The beds weren't the best, and the bathroom is quite small, though I'm 120kg and 2m tall. The hotel has a traditional feel, with 70's & 80's interior design, and it's the only one I know of with a pool in Agrios Kyrikos. Getting up to the hotel will raise your pulse, but that's why Ikarians are in the “Blue zone”.

Breakfast was the part we liked least, especially the old, stale bread. The staff were welcoming and friendly, though, and we had a wonderful room with a sea view during a very pleasant stay.
