Micheal was a wonderful host, and Maria was an amazing housekeeper. They made us feel at home and both deserve a 10. The apartment itself needs renovation. A lot of things are outdated or a little broken, and the beds aren’t comfortable. Maria helped us fix the bed situation for a couple of days, but really, everything could use an upgrade. If the owners take care of that, the apartments would be perfect. For a few days with the pool, it’s fine :)

The staff were kind and friendly, and there’s a lovely sea view. We had a spacious studio with a well equipped kitchen and a good sized bathroom. It’s conveniently about 3 km from Agios Nikolaos and a 10 minute drive from Elounda. A nice beach is also only a 5-7 minute walk away.

The manager felt very overbearing to me, and I noticed he smelled of alcohol. The building is old and falling apart in places, though the room was clean, tidy, and inexpensive. Since it can sleep four and is advertised as self catering, I wish the kitchen had been better stocked for four people, with enough plates, utensils, and a kettle.
