Costas and Maria looked after us so warmly and were helpful the whole visit. They even held a Greek evening with music and singing for the hotel guests. The location works really well for the old part of town, with the marina visible from the hotel. Restaurants and beaches are both close, about a three-minute walk.

The apartments at Mantraki Apartments were spacious and had everything I needed. What stood out most was the owner's kindness: when I rented a car, he helped plan my whole four-day trip, with route ideas, hidden gems, and places to see around Crete. His restaurant tips were just as good, from traditional Cretan tavernas to seafood places, and every one was excellent. The hosts were warm and caring throughout, always ready to help. The owner also plays the accordion beautifully, which gave the stay a lovely personal touch. It felt more like visiting dear friends than staying at a hotel. I can't recommend Mantraki highly enough.

The owner greeted us with a welcome drink, which turned out to be a big glass of ouzo. Everyone was friendly and keen to help. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a view over the small harbor, and we slept well in the nice beds. The shower was good too. It's centrally located near both the center and the coast, with a small beach and good restaurants close by.

The owners were incredibly hospitable and gave us a detailed introduction to Agios Nikolaos, complete with a map. The spacious room had a kitchen, couch, and bedroom, plus a real stone bed base topped with a foam mattress that made for a great night's sleep. The location was good, and I enjoyed my stay.

The family who run the hotel really care about visitors having a good time in Agios Nikolaos. Costa and Maria, the owners, were very keen for us to enjoy the area. There are four apartments on each floor. The apartments aren't especially large, but they have enough space and amenities for a stay.
