Divine Boutique Cave Experience

The location may be lovely, but the cleanliness, hospitality, professionalism, and management were far below what we expected. This was one of my worst hotel stays, and especially disappointing for what should have been a relaxing honeymoon. The pool and jacuzzi were visibly dirty, and when we asked repeatedly for them to be cleaned, staff delayed or brushed us off. One person said, “Even if we clean it, it will get dirty again anyway.” Service generally felt very poor, with little professionalism or clear organization. At around 3-4 PM one day, we tried to order food and were told the restaurant was closed until later that evening. Reception called the chef in front of us to ask for an exception, and he refused. Yet around the same time the next day, I was told food was available and they could “arrange something.” Paid hotel services shouldn’t depend on someone’s mood or a personal favor. Housekeeping also felt oddly handled. We postponed cleaning one day, then got a call around 3 PM saying housekeeping was about to leave and asking if we still wanted the room cleaned. The manager’s attitude was the biggest problem: consistently rude, aggressive, dismissive, and visibly irritated whenever we raised a concern. On our first day, we told reception clearly that we are Muslim and don’t consume pork or alcohol. Even so, our food order arrived with pork. Instead of apologizing professionally, the manager got angry and blamed us, repeating that we should have mentioned it when ordering, though we had already told the hotel when we arrived. Then, during the discussion, he walked away mid-conversation and left us standing there.
