The Sand Suites- Adults Only

Dimitris and his team took such good care of us, from arranging dinner reservations to surprising me with a delicious birthday cake. We spent four nights in the Junior Suite and loved it. It was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, and the Sand Suites team kept it spotless. The terrace and pool gave the two of us lots of room to relax, and it was a lovely place to have breakfast. It changed every day and there was more than enough to last until lunch or later. The beach is a short walk down some steps, while town takes about 20-30 minutes on foot. We’d definitely recommend the Sand Suites if you’re staying in or around Agios Nikolaos.

Breakfast arrived in a box at whatever time we wanted, so we could enjoy a peaceful meal in our own suite. It was a great setup for a relaxing holiday, and the place made us feel at home. The area of Crete is lovely, with Almyros beach and a small river right in front of the hotel. Agios Nikolaos is about a 30-minute walk away. Manager Dimitri was always very helpful, whether we needed a dinner reservation or a broken glass cleared away. He also had great ideas for activities and restaurants. We highly recommend this place.

Dimitris went above and beyond during our three-night honeymoon stay. He arranged dinner bookings and taxis, and brought me a cake by hand on my birthday. The room was beautiful and immaculately cleaned every day. We loved having the delicious breakfast on our balcony each morning, with a lovely ocean view. We only wish we’d stayed longer, and can’t wait to come back.

We had a private pool suite and it was a perfect stay. There’s a lovely breakfast with something a little different each day, and the staff were attentive with great service. If you want some privacy while being just steps from the beach, this is the place.
