Maki's Place

The hotel sits right by the marina, with a sea bus into downtown for 2.50€. There's also a nice beach about a 10-minute walk away. Our superior deluxe bedroom looked out over the pool and port, and the view was amazing. The staff were wonderful and kept the room perfectly clean. Nothing bad to say about this place.

The location is handy, with a supermarket next door and the port just outside for trips to the old town and its main shops. Staff were extremely nice, and even offered free rides to and from the hotel. The pool was lovely and had towels, and the room was decent for what we paid. Breakfast tasted good, though the selection was quite limited.

Breakfast was excellent on the pretty sea-view terrace under a pergola. After breakfast, the terrace becomes a restaurant that serves food through the evening, and the meals are delicious and good value. There’s also a small pool overlooking the port and free parking on site. The room was beautiful, fragrant and spotless, and cleanliness clearly matters a lot here. I was blown away by the service at Makis Place. I wanted an affordable hotel convenient for both the port and airport, and it was perfect. They provide a complimentary private driver to and from both, even though the port is only a short walk away. Mykonos town is a short trip by bus, car or sea bus. Everyone, from the drivers to the front desk team and porters, was helpful, welcoming and attentive.

The sea bus is right outside, so getting around is easy, and the hotel has a really pretty view. The room came with coffee, water and even a vanity kit in case a button comes off or something. Staff were so kind and attentive. They carried my bags up and down the stairs, and one person noticed I was using a fan and lowered the AC in the reception hall for me. Breakfast is free and amazing, and the restaurant food later in the day is really good too. 10/10, would recommend!
