Akrorama Villa And Suites Santorini

For the last part of our honeymoon, it was so nice to have our own pool and privacy, plus a great breakfast every day. We did go out, but honestly we could have happily stayed in. Such a lovely stay.

You’ll probably want a car, ATV, or moped to get around from this area, though there are local buses. It’s outside the cruise ship zone, so there aren’t huge crowds. The lighthouse is close for beautiful sunsets, but it gets busy, so go early. We loved the suite: fresh breakfasts delivered right to the door, a private pool at 30°C for relaxing after a day out or sunbathing, and an incredible view across the caldera. The hosts were all friendly and helpful, and Zenia knows the island well and shared great local tips.

We’ve come back to Akrorama for the second time in two years because we haven’t found anywhere better. The rooms are gorgeous, the views phenomenal, and Zenia is an incredible host who makes the stay feel luxurious. There’s daily cleaning and homemade breakfast, a private heated plunge pool, a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and cosy robes and slippers. We’re already looking forward to returning.

The host organized everything for us, and the fresh breakfast and quick cleaning service were great. The villa was beautiful inside and out, and I was impressed with the whole place. There are two pools, one warm and one cool. The cool pool is 10 feet deep, starting at around 6ft from the steps. With its spectacular view and plenty of room, it’s a great rental for a large family.
