The location in Akrotiri was quiet and private, yet close to the places we wanted to see. Hemera Holiday Home Villa felt cared for, like a home away from home, and Maria made a huge difference. She welcomed us with local treats, gave us tips on beaches and restaurants, and helped arrange a private sailing tour and a visit to Akrotiri and Red Beach. Her warmth and kindness made us feel at home. The villa gave our extended family space to unwind while still spending time together. Its two levels blend Cycladic style with modern comfort. We loved the Caldera and volcano views, with sunrises and sunsets that felt like a private show. The private pool became part of our daily routine, and the outdoor dining areas were perfect for long meals together. The rooms were spotless, the linens cozy, and we appreciated the complimentary wine and local/traditional breakfast ingredients. Traveling with family can be tricky, but the villa made it easy. Every detail showed care. If you’re visiting Santorini with family or friends, Hemera Holiday Home was a five-star experience for us.

Maria welcomed us so warmly, and her breakfast each morning was delicious. The decor felt gorgeous and authentic, and the house was beautiful inside and out, with views to die for. We had three spacious bedrooms, so there was plenty of room for everyone, and getting ready for our wedding here felt special. The villa is stunning, with jaw-dropping views, especially at sunset, and the private pool was a perfect spot to unwind and take it all in. Maria, the owner, welcomed us like family, and the food she made was fresh, authentic and absolutely incredible. Her hospitality went beyond anything we expected. Every detail in the home made us feel comfortable and cared for. Hemera Holiday Home was more than a place to sleep, it gave us memories we’ll keep for life.

The villa was peaceful, idyllic and meticulously clean, away from Oia’s crowds, with views on both the caldera and ocean sides. Maria is a wonderful host, cook and baker, and her warm hospitality and delicious breakfasts are a real treat. She can arrange day tours with lovely local people. You can walk to Akrotiri, either the town or archaeological site, and to some great waterfront dining down the hill.

We picked Hemera Villa to get ready for our wedding because it had such a beautiful view for photos. Maria was lovely and so welcoming, and made amazing local delicacies. I recommend staying here in Santorini.
