Bekiri's Studios

You can walk to pretty much everything from the studios. There are restaurants, mini markets, souvenir shops, car and ATV hire, and stands offering boat trips all nearby. Really good location.

For a budget stay, this place is comfortable and practical, with a bathroom, small kitchen and balcony. Having the option to cook is useful and saves eating out, though this isn’t a luxury apartment. There’s parking outside and a barbecue area guests can use. The building has eight similarly designed rooms, and an extra bed can be added for children. Cristina was very friendly and cleaned our room each day. We had to check out before 11 am. The photos I attached were taken just before we left, rather than at the start of the stay. The shower cabin was the awkward part for us. It felt rather small, especially if you want to shower without getting your hair wet.

We spoke with them on two phone numbers and got different prices for the same room. Then we found out there was an extra charge for air conditioning, so we said we didn’t need it and left. They started calling us stupid and going on about it. I’d avoid the place from now on. 😅

A reasonably priced choice if noise bothers you. The rooms are being updated, the beds are comfortable, and there’s AC. Cooking equipment is very limited, though the kitchen itself is a good size. There’s a balcony and covered parking on the property. Restaurants are about a five minute walk away, and the beach is around 15 minutes on foot. Update: some bathrooms have since been renovated. It’s still peaceful, with roomy accommodation, flyscreens, and balconies or verandahs.
