Maison 66 Riviera Hotels

Ants were in the room, and it was very noisy. We were treated terribly by people who came across as extremely rude and unprofessional. This is flats rather than a hotel. I wouldn't recommend it, and I'm pretty doubtful that the positive reviews are real.

The room had a badly designed shower, with water spilling out and not drying up, and one mattress had a large, disgusting stain. One of our beds also collapsed, making it nearly impossible to sleep. We think there may have been bedbugs too. There was construction nearby, so it was noisy, and the breakfast was disappointing, with little variety and orange juice that tasted spoiled. The service wasn't bad, though the place seemed understaffed. The hotel looks nice, but with all these problems, I can't really recommend it.

The bed bugs were the worst part of our four-night stay. On the second night, Room 103, the other room we had booked, was full of them. We found another review from a family who'd reported the same problem, so it seemed staff already knew. They first said the bites were from mosquitoes. My friend had bites across her face, hands, neck, and back, and a pharmacist confirmed they were bed bug bites. When she took a pillow with visible bugs to reception, staff panicked and told her not to bring it there. They only agreed to move our friends to the hotel next door after that. The kids were covered in bites, and nobody accepted responsibility until they had no choice. The whole thing ruined our holiday. We'd booked two Les Suite Side Sea View Suites, but the rooms looked nothing like the Booking.com photos. The advertised futon wasn't there, just a chair. And this isn't beachfront: getting to the beach takes around 10 minutes on foot, across several busy streets without safe crossings. Be especially careful with children, because it feels dangerous. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. This place felt dishonest and unsafe, and the experience was completely unacceptable.

We booked two rooms for June 2025. They looked clean and nice, with a large terrace, but room 102 was crawling with bedbugs. We only discovered it at 5 a.m. as we were getting up to head to the airport. I emailed the hotel afterward and got no reply, so they don't seem to care.
