Being right by the sea is a real plus, but the hotel needs work. The rooms felt old and unclean, with a moldy smell, and the beds were just as dated and very small. Even with the beachfront location, I wouldn’t return. I’d spend a few extra euros to stay somewhere else.

The sea is lovely, though the umbrella and two sunbeds cost €10. Be sure to give them both the umbrella details and your room number when ordering, or they may say you didn’t order from the beach. Breakfast was good, with fresh boreks made each morning. The rooms are very old, and showering without getting water everywhere is difficult.

We had a great three-night stay, and being right on the beach meant we could go from breakfast straight to a sunbed. Our room had a lovely view, and the staff were always glad to help with advice on things to do or booking a taxi. It’s a lovely hotel, and we’d happily stay again.

The beach and its own sun loungers are right outside Alea Mare Hotel. Inside, everything was very clean, breakfast was world class, especially the desserts, and the staff were extremely friendly. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it! :)

The rooms were charming, clean, and comfortable, and the beach is just across the street. Breakfast was awesome, too. The staff were great and very helpful, especially Ms. Anna at reception. One of the island’s gems, and probably my favorite hotel on my Dodecanese tour. I definitely recommend it.
