Costmari

We’ve been to Almyrida before and love it. Cost Mari is centrally located without being noisy, with tavernas and supermarkets conveniently close. Some sites say the sea views are gone because other properties were built in front, but please don’t let that put you off. The sea is just around the corner, and the place is quiet and private, with lovely views of its own gardens. Maria welcomed us with open arms, true Cretian/Greek spirit. We could choose between two rooms, and ours was comfortable, had everything we needed, and was very clean. It was serviced three times a week. There was a decent kettle and hairdryer, too. We didn’t cook, but prepared meals in the room and ate outside while admiring the garden. Maria also left us some cakes one day, which delighted us. We had no problems during our stay. If something had gone wrong, we felt Maria would have gone above and beyond to put it right. We highly recommend staying here. It was incredibly budget friendly for us, and we’d certainly consider coming back. True Cretian/Greek hospitality 👍
