The location is great, close to the beach and surrounded by restaurants, with a large supermarket conveniently next door. The accommodation itself is simple and dated. Breakfast is coffee, bread, ham, and cheese. There’s no EFT, so payment has to be in cash. The manager or owner could work on her people skills. I don’t think she knows how to smile.

In August 2017, Montes Apartments got our Alikes Zakynthos booking wrong. We’d booked our usual two-room apartment but were put in two separate units along a corridor, not next to each other. The issue was sorted out after two nights, when we were moved into our usual two-bedroom apartment. We weren’t charged for the two nights in the apartments we hadn’t booked.

The beach is a short walk away, and there’s beautiful nature all around, along with pubs and cafes. Our room had a sea view, and shops are right downstairs. It was a great stay.

I spent two weeks here and had a great time. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the apartment was lovely, and it was cleaned every day. The location was great too.

The staff were really helpful, and our apartment was cleaned daily. It’s a really nice hotel. Hope I can go back in 2019.
