The owners welcomed us with local sweets and made us feel at home right away. We stayed four nights in these apartments and would happily come back on our next trip to Andros. The room was very clean, and the location made it easy to walk to the centre of Chora. Thanks for a lovely stay.

It’s easy to get to the centre of Andros, or Chora, on foot, and there’s parking at this ideally located place. Giannis and Caroline were very polite and happy to offer guidance and recommendations to make our time on the island even better. You can rent e-bikes from Giannis to enjoy the incredible island views. He also offers boat rentals and daily boat tours to reach the island’s steepest, most rugged spots and beaches, like Achla.

Caroline and Yiannis are what make this place so special. They know the island inside out and are always so helpful. I've been returning to Riva Karaoulanis apartments for more than ten years, in every season, and still wouldn't choose anywhere else. The apartments are clean, quiet, insulated, and self-serviced, with some lovely valley views and morning sun on the patio. They're close to town, and handy if you like to cook in sometimes. The quality is superb and the setting is gorgeous.

We had a lovely time exploring the walking routes, beaches, and local food. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and in a really good location. Caroline was such a friendly, helpful host. Thanks, Caroline. We'd love to come back.

The hosts were incredibly accommodating, and the place was unusually clean. There's also a well-equipped exercise room that hardly anyone seemed to use. You're close to Town but still get peace and quiet, with beautiful views across the valley. Highly recommend!
